Studio Etiquette
Yoga is an ancient practice, but keeping things calm and considerate in the studio never gets old. Whether it’s your first time at Four Noble Truths, or your hundredth, these simple, mindful guidelines will help you and your fellow yogis find your Zen.
01. Arrive Early
Try to get here 15 minutes before class. We know, sometimes life has other plans—but a little extra time to settle in helps set the tone for your practice.
04. Health Check
Got an injury? Pregnant? Recently had surgery? Let your teacher know, so they can give you the right modifications and make sure you’re practicing safely.
07. Respect the Space
This is your sanctuary, and we all share it. After class, please give your mat a little TLC with the sprays provided, roll it up neatly, and leave the studio as peaceful as you found it.
02. Running Late
No worries! Just wait at the entrance until the teacher waves you in, so we can keep the calm vibes rolling
05. Empty Belly, Full Heart
Yoga’s best done on an empty stomach, so try not to eat for 2-3 hours before class. That post-yoga snack will taste even better!
08. Quiet Please
It’s lovely to chat with your fellow yogis, but when class is about to start, keep it quiet so everyone can enjoy a moment of stillness
03. Shoes Off, World Off
Please remove your shoes at reception and leave the outside world behind—no phones, no calls. Trust us, your boss can wait!
06. Take Rest, Seriously
Shavasana isn’t just nap time—it’s an essential part of your practice. Make sure to carve out time to fully enjoy it. Your body will thank you
09. Let it Flow
Need a bathroom break during class? Try to time it between poses or during a quiet moment so you can slip in and out like a true yoga ninja
